My boss and I were staring at a pile of "I [heart] New York" tourist maps from the early 70s, trying to figure out how to arrange the notes field of the catalog record. 

Boss: I'm not sure how I'm going to note this heart symbol. This program isn't terribly sophisticated.
Me: You know, on the internet, people sometimes write a "<" and the number 3.
Boss: What?
Me: [draws "<3" on a post-it]
Boss: ...Veronica, that's terrible. I'm an old man. Why do they even do such a thing.
Me: Kids these days! 
Boss: I think I'll just put "love" in brackets.

I had a good regular Thursday in Singapore, as I am Canadian ;) BUT EXUBERANCE IS ALWAYS A GOOD THING!!!!! As is being drunk!
